About Me
Working in TV writers’ rooms since 2017, Charlie served in supporting roles on the final season of House of Cards (Netflix) and both seasons of American Rust (Showtime, Freevee). He was hired in 2023 as an editor and writing consultant on a greenlit feature biopic about activist and MLB legend Roberto Clemente. As an intern and assistant in LA, he worked at Cross Creek Pictures (Black Swan) and also under Hollywood producer Michael Shamberg (Pulp Fiction). While living in the Bay Area, he worked at Whiskytree, a visual effects company that contracts for Star Wars and Marvel movies. He is currently shopping his first collection of short stories, The Drunks of Saturday Night, which feasts upon the cultural splendors and oddities of rural Ohio. One of the pieces in his "Sawmill Stories" collection was recently published by Bridge & Tunnel Books. He won the fiction award at Duke University (Anne Flexner Prize) two years in a row during his time as a student there.
